This learn-by-doing program is designed to help you practice the UX fundamentals. In just 8 weeks, you’ll go through the end-to-end UX process.
Accelerated UX immersion
Create a research plan & recruit participants
You'll identify what it takes to develop a solid research plan, write effective user interview questions, and recruit participants.
Conduct user interviews
You'll gain deep insights into your problem by conducting user interviews. This is a critical skill in UX; to listen and empathize with users.
Affinitize the research data
You'll group chunks of your research data into meaningful insights by creating an affinity map. You'll have confidence in the problem you're solving, and it will reveal your design direction.
Master information architecture & create a story map
You'll discover what it takes to create an understandable and intuitive information architecture. Then, you'll break down user goals into a story map, giving you clarity on what to design.
Create your sketches, wireframes, & user flows
You'll alchemize your research findings into low-fidelity solutions that solve the user and business problems. You'll create sketches, wireframes, and user flows. This is the bread and butter of UX. Well, at least it's the bread.
Craft a usability test plan & recruit participants
How do you know that your design solves the user problem AND that it's usable? By testing it with users! You'll build a usability test plan to make the most out of your testing sessions.
Build your prototype
You'll craft an interactive prototype you'll later test with users to ensure your solution is usable, relevant, and meaningful.
Run usability tests & analyze the data
You'll validate how well your solution meets the mark by conducting testing sessions with real people. Then, you'll synthesize the research findings and determine next steps.

What will I come out with at this end of the program?
You’ll walk away with the ability to create products that solve true user and business problems. You'll also be able to confidently back up your design decisions with data.
What if I want to fully transition to UX after the program?
UX Intensive is intended to teach you the fundamentals and add UX design to your skillset. If, by the end of the program, you decide you want to transition to UX, you'll get a $500 credit towards our flagship job-ready program, UX/UI Expert. It's a 22-week program to become a kickass UX designer.
Can my employer pay for the program?

How much work should I expect to put in per week?
Expect to dedicate up to 4-8 hours per week for videos and assignments.
What if I fall behind?
We purposefully added one to two break weeks in the program to give you a breather and to help others catch up if they've fallen behind.
If you're not able to catch up, that's alright too. You'll always have access to the program. So you can go back and watch the videos and do the assignments at your leisure.
I don’t live in the United States, can I still apply?
UX Intensive is 100% online. We welcome everyone, wherever you are in the world.
Note that you’ll need to be able to access Zoom to participate in meetings. If you live in a country where you can't access Zoom, unfortunately, you won’t be able to join our program.
What if I can’t attend some of the weekly meetings?
We encourage you to attend as many of them as possible, we understand that you won’t be able to participate from time to time.
Meetings are with the entire cohort and are recorded. If you can’t make it, you can still watch it later.
Do I get a certificate of completion?
Yes! At the end of the program, we’ll send a certificate of completion as proof that you went through UX Intensive.
Print it, marvel at it, show it off to your friends or not. Up to you!
