On average, across the entire program, expect to dedicate 4 to 8 hours per week for videos and assignments.

For intense weeks, expect to spend at least 6 to 8 hours.

On lighter weeks, expect to spend anywhere between 1 to 4 hours.

To ensure that no one gets left behind, we’ve purposefully made some weeks lighter than others. Sometimes you won’t have assignments, and your only task will be to watch and internalize content.

Also, every 4 to 5 weeks, and for everyone’s mental health’s sake, we included break weeks. Relax and watch movies. If you’re falling behind and need to catch up on assignments, go for it.

You’ll get access to your mentors every single week during our Monday meetings. We’ll address any concerns you may have, answer your questions, and help you to go through the program successfully. We'll also be available to answer questions through our chat.

You also get 1-on-1 mentorship! Depending on your needs, you'll be able to choose between 4, 8, or 12 hours of 1-on-1 mentorship.

UX/UI Expert is 100% online. We welcome everyone, wherever you are in the world.

Yet, there's one exception.

The program and meetings are taught in American English. With that in mind, you must be fluent in English to get the most out of this program.

If you get into the program, we’ll let you select your time preferences for the peer-to-peer meetings so that it’s easy on you and your peers’ schedules.

While we encourage you to attend as many of them as possible, we understand that you won’t be able to participate from time to time. We recommend that you follow at least 20 of the 22 meetings.

Monday meetings are with the entire cohort and are recorded. If you can’t make it, you can still watch it later.

Friday meetings are peer-to-peer only and are in small groups of 4. You’ll be able to select the time that suits you best on Fridays, and we will match you with people who have similar time preferences as you. These smaller meetings aren’t recorded; think of them as breakout rooms.

We’ve designed UX/UI Expert to be the best of both worlds. It’s the speed of a bootcamp with the depth of a university program.

Bootcamps tend to glance over subjects that are critical to becoming a true UX designer. For example, while most of them teach you UI theory, it’s so basic that it’s not actionable enough.

On the other hand, university programs can be theory-heavy and less focused on applying design in the real-world. It’s common for these programs to teach you concepts that you put into practice many months later… once you’ve forgotten most of it.

With UX/UI Expert, we’re taking a completely different approach.

We’re not a mega-corporation and proud of it. As our student, you are treated as a real person, not just a number.

We keep class sizes small (up to 12 people per class).

We personally provide mentorship every week of the program. And we genuinely care; we’re not just saying that for marketing purposes.

We strongly believe in giving/receiving feedback, in exposing yourself to new ideas. That’s why we allow you to go through peer-to-peer feedback sessions every week.

You work on case study subjects that you care about instead of giving you pre-canned case studies.

We teach you in-depth concepts using a learn-by-doing teaching style. Rapidly applying what you just learned is one of the best ways to understand and internalize concepts.

Lastly, we give you lifetime access to all the program materials so that you can keep watching videos and practice. At a bootcamp or university, once the program is done, it’s done. If you’re lucky, you’ll have the slides of the lessons you took. Yay.
